Before I ever picked up a press pass, I was working in mine camps across regional Australia — steady income, but not my dream. Eventually I made a decision that changed the course of my life: I left the mines, committed to university, and earned a Bachelor of Sports Media from Charles Sturt University.

What followed was a career I built from the ground up. I've worked with the Nashville Predators, the Toronto Blue Jays' Jays Care Foundation, and the WTA's Mérida 500 in Mexico. Three countries, three very different corners of the sports industry — and all of it pointing toward one thing I wanted to build for myself.
